Acne Naturist Treatment
![]() |
There are a variety of acne naturist treatment options for you to choose from. When attempting to heal your acne in a natural way, it is important to take a holistic approach regarding the body, mind and spirit. One way to do this is through proper nutrition. The right foods can encourage a healthy body and thus healthy skin. When it comes to what not to eat, most experts would recommend you avoid refined sugar, white flour and animal fat. Of course the foods are not just bad for your skin but the rest of you as well.
When eating to improve your skin you are nourishing your entire body with healthy foods. Whole grains, fruits and vegetables, lean protein and healthy fat like olive oil can be helpful. Omega oils such as those found in wild salmon may also help improve the look of your skin. The best beverages include water and green tea. Green tea has an astringent effect and is packed with antioxidants. This is why it is commonly used in natural skin care products.
Do not confuse green tea with tea tree oil. Tree tea oil comes from the Melaleuca plant while green tea comes from the Camellia sinensis plant. Tea tree oil is another natural remedy for acne. Like with green tea, there are many products on the market that contain tea tree oil. If you want to use essential oil it should be diluted before being applied to your skin. To use tea tree oil simply dab a diluted amount on your skin and let it dry. You may want to shop for tea tree and green tea products at your local health food store.
Other acne naturist treatment remedies include exfoliants such as those made from apricots. Sugar scrub is another gentle yet effective type of exfoliant. Jojoba oil is a great product for oily skin because it helps regulate sebum levels. Try mixing sugar with jojoba oil for a nourishing scrub or use jojoba as your base for tea tree oil. Other oils like lavender, sage and ylang ylang can also be mixed with a carrier oil like jojoba and used as a gentle moisturizer or even cleansing oil for blemish prone skin.
